Not what I expected

Reviewed by (Mike Heisler, Lansing, NY, United States) - I've gone through a couple e-Sword devotional items including "A Word for the Day" and "Day by Day by Grace". I have used other books too. Only 2 weeks in but "Grace for the Moment" is just too shallow to be engaging. Half a verse and a short comment doesn't provide enough to think about.

But when I got over that and started actually taking in their message, I realized the Lucado devotions are actually entirely full and complete. I no longer regret the money I paid for them.

I'm really happy with the purchase, and would encourage others if they don't have a daily devotional to do so.

E-Sword is amazing, easy to use, and I've had it for about 9 or 10 years, and still haven't used everything. I have 15 different bibles, and have fun comparing them. 12 different commentaries, 5 dictionary's, 10 graphics, 6 devotions, and 10 reference books. I also like using SermonAudio.com. My pastor was the one that told me about, and I shared it with other members of our church. I check the updates weekly and would highly recommend it to everyone.

I was in need of a devotional and now seemed as good a time as any to try out this one as well as try out other features of e-Sword. I was immediately impressed. Simple and effective to use, thought provoking, and challenging. I'm using it daily just like I should!!! And it complements my "free" downloaded devotionals well too.
