GENERAL/E-SWORD FAQ
What if my hard drive crashes or I need to download the resource
again?
All customers can access re-download links by logging into your account at
www.estudysource.com using your email address and password. After
LOGIN, click on View Orders and then click on View Order
Receipt. A DOWNLOAD link will be listed for every
title you have previously purchased. If you have lost or forgotten your Product
Key(s), there is a link there to click to recover your Product Key(s).
What if I can't LOGIN to make purchases?
Be sure you are entering your email and password exactly as you set them up in
your account. If you have forgotten your password, click
Forgot your password? on the LOGIN page. Then: 1. Be sure you have cookies
enabled in your browser when visiting our site. 2. If you do not have an
account, first go to CREATE AN ACCOUNT at top right of our Home Page and fill
in the requested information, then LOGIN to your account. The LOGIN button is
at the top right of our Home page. 3. Be sure you are not entering a space
before or after your email or password. 4. Make your selection of resources and
proceed all the way through checkout, carefully following the directions on the
checkout pages. You will find the VIEW CART link at the top right part of each
page, and the PROCEED TO CHECKOUT box on the bottom of the SHOPPING CART page.
What if the product key doesn't work to unlock my purchase?
To unlock your resource you must enter your email exactly the way you set up
your account, including upper/lower case. The product code must also match
exactly the code you were sent. Note that the first character of the product
code is a LETTER not a number; e.g. the letter "I" might be mistaken for the
number "1" and the letter "B" might be mistaken for a number "8." Try typing in
all the requested information if you were trying to copy and paste or using an
"autofill" program.
What if I get a message that the download is corrupt or is
"malware?"
Security via the internet is an ever-changing science. From time to time, some
adware or anti-virus programs may incorrectly suggest that the files we are
transmitting are "corrupt" or "malware". You will need to temporarily disable
the security software that is blocking your installation. Once your
installation is complete, you can re-activate your security software.
What if only part of the Pocket e-Sword resource or bundle
installs (e.g. NIV Family or Vines OT/NT)?
Run the "Pocket e-Sword Module Installer" utility located in the "C:\Program
Files\Pocket e-Sword\" directory. Select the missing modules to install from
the subdirectories located beneath the aforementioned path. If you need to
re-download these resources, you may access your account at any time to
re-download your resources or retrieve your product keys. The LOGIN button is
at the top right of our Home page. Simply LOGIN to your account at our site,
click on MY ACCT., then on VIEW ORDERS and then on VIEW ORDER RECEIPT. You will
need to use the same email you used to set up your account at the time you made
your purchases.
Can I install a second copy of my resource?
You may install your resource on another computer or device if it is for YOUR
PERSONAL USE ONLY. If another person uses them, it is a violation of the
publisher's copyright, and you'll need to purchase another copy for that use.
Please see our Terms
of Use for more information. You may access your account at any time to
re-download your resources or retrieve your product keys.
What if I don't see my resources in e-Sword?
All of the files you download are EXE files that need to be "run" on your PC to
extract their contents. First, be sure to restart e-Sword software after your
download. Next, determine if your purchase was a Topic Note resource (e.g., the
resources in our BACKGROUNDS category, including: The Bible Teacher's
Commentary; Nelson's New Bible Manners & Customs; etc.). If you
successfully downloaded the Topic Note resource into your e-Sword software,
you'll need to click on Topic Notes and then go to the pull down tab at the
very bottom side of the right hand side of the screen. That's where you'll see
all your Topic Notes files. See e-Sword's
Training Page for FREE demos and Training Manual for e-Sword Bible
Software.

How do I use e-Sword with the resources?
For online demos and detailed help on how to use e-Sword Bible software, go to
e-Sword's Training Page
How are the resources protected?
Resources available on eStudySource are copyright protected and embedded with
reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized copying and distribution. Levels of
restrictions are dependent on the formats and the access assigned by the
publishers and rights holders of the resources. Most resources are digitally
encrypted so they can only be opened in a designated type of software (such as
e-Sword) and are protected from being freely distributed (copy-protected).
Depending on the type of reader software, the resource file is either encrypted
to a specific computer or device (meaning it can only be read on that computer
or device) or it is encrypted to a specific user's account (meaning it can be
read on any device or computer which contains that user's secret account
information).
If a resource has been protected for only one person to read, then consumers
download the file to their computer and must read the resource on that computer
(or on other devices containing their secret account information). Copies of
the resource can only be read on authorized computers or by authorized users.
If a publisher/author has decided not to copy-protect their resource, then
consumers download the file to their computer and can then copy it to any other
computer/device they choose. The resource may be read on any supported computer
and by any user.
What are the Terms of Use for this site and the Resources?
By using this site and purchasing resources from our sites, users agree to
honor and protect the copyright of these resources by using them for personal
use only and not distributing the files or attempting to open them without
purchasing the required unlocking key from our sites. Doing so is a violation
of U.S. copyright laws.
You may install the resources you have purchased on a secondary computer IF IT
IS FOR YOUR PERSONAL USE ONLY. To view your account or access re-download links
to install to another computer, simply LOGIN to your account at
www.estudysource.com, click on View Orders and then click on View
Order Receipt. Click on the DOWNLOAD link to download the
resource you desire.
These resources are provided by third parties, such as publishers, to
eStudySource for sale and distribution, and eStudySource makes no warranty or
claim regarding the content or usability of the resources. Please see our
Terms of Use policy for additional information.
How do I open and use my purchased resources?
All resources must be opened and read with the software for which they were
designed. In other words, an e-Sword resource must be opened with e-Sword
software. It is the world's most popular Bible software, with over 5 million
users, and is FREE! The download URL for e-Sword is:
www.e-sword.net/downloads.html. The download link for Pocket e-Sword
is: www.e-sword.net/pocketpc/downloads.html.
How do I download updated versions of my resources?
If an updated version is made available of a resource you purchased previously
at our site, you may replace your previous version at no additional cost by
downloading the revised version at no additional cost. Simply access your
account at our site and use the previous download link for that resource. After

Missing Gift Purchase?
If the intended recipient of a gift purchase has not received their email
receipt containing their link(s) and product key(s), here are possible reasons:
-
the email entered during the gift purchase was inaccurate or is not active.
-
the recipient either accidentally deleted the e-mail or their system is
filtering eStudySource.com emails as spam. The recipient should check their
spam folders to find the missing email.
-
Users of ISPs such as AOL and Hotmail have the option of blocking all e-mail
messages that originate outside of their domain. If your gift recipient uses
those services, be sure to have them add "system@estudysource.com" to their
contacts or address book and add ""estudysource.com"" to their whitelist of
approved email senders in advance of making your gift purchase.
If these solutions do not resolve the conflict, please have the intended
recipient contact us here and we will assist them.
They will need to provide the name and email address of the gift purchaser.
Alternatively, the gift purchaser may contact us here
with the order number, intended recipient's name, account email, and updated
email (if account email is inactive), and we will contact and assist the gift
recipient.
What if I have a new email address?
You may either:
1. Change your email address in your account. You may update your contact
information in your account at any time by LOGGING in to your account at our
site and clicking on EDIT ACCOUNT INFORMATION. However, please note that, if
you need to reinstall your previously purchased resources, you'll need to input
the email address you used when you purchased each resource in order to unlock
them. So be sure to print and keep copies of all your receipts and email
addresses you used when you purchased them.
2. Set up a new account with your new email. Purchases under the new account
will be unlocked with the new email address.

How do I download my audio books?
Our FREE EAS Download Manager takes care of all the hard work for you! Simply
install the Manager when prompted after you Checkout, and proceed with 4 easy
download steps:
-
Enter your Product Key and select your desired format and quality
-
Select to download portions or the entire resource
-
Confirm the location on your computer to save your audio files*
-
Click Download, and the Manager takes care of the rest!
*Note: we recommend you create a new subfolder for each audio book you
download. Here's how: Click on BROWSE in the eAS Download Manager and then
click on MAKE NEW FOLDER and name the folder with the title of your audio book.
This will make it easier to locate your book after downloading it. If you need
to re-download any files for your audio book, be sure to select the same folder
as the destination for the re-download.
How do I make or "burn" a CD or DVD copy of my audio book?
Most media player software programs will provide capabilities for burning a CD.
Select the media player software of your choice and follow the on screen
instructions for burning a CD. Here are the usual steps in most media players:
1) open your media player software on your PC and select the "Burn CD/DVD"
option. 2) Insert your CD or writeable DVD into your CD/DVD drive. 3) Copy or
drag your audio files to the appropriate window in your media player.
To make a CD for your car, you'll want to burn your audio book to an audio CD.
Depending on the size of your book, it may take multiple CD's. If you are
making a copy to play on your computer, we suggest you burn a writeable DVD, as
it will store much more data than a CD. If you need to install media software,
here are links to popular free programs for your computer:
iTunes
Windows Media Player RealPlayer
Quick Time WinAmp
Please remember that you may burn a copy of your audio book as long as it is
for YOUR PERSONAL USE ONLY. It is a violation of International copyright law to
distribute copies of your audio resources to any other person.
What if the Download Manager doesn't work?
Your conflict may be with your security settings. The eAS Download Manager
software requires access to the ftp port on your computer. Be sure to enable
access to the ftp port on your computer locally and/or on the network firewall
which is blocking the ftp port. The eAS software is making simple ftp requests
using port 21 to our media servers. If some other program on your local machine
is running on port 21 or blocking or limiting its access for some reason (such
as a personal firewall), you will need to find the source and disable or
reconfigure its settings. If a firewall is running on your local machine you
will need to check the settings and either open the ftp port (port 21 - the
standard ftp port) or temporarily disable your firewall to run the downloader.
If your machine is on a network behind a firewall, you will need to contact
your network administrator to ensure ftp access on port 21 is allowed. On
Windows 2000 or XP you can access your firewall settings through the "Control
Panel," and then double-clicking "Windows Firewall." This brings up a manager
screen with an "Exceptions" tab. Clicking the "Exceptions" tab will display a
list of programs your firewall is currently excluding (if any) from its
blocking policy. Click "Add Program." and select the eAS Download Manager from
your list of system programs (icons should be visible as well). Click OK and
then try restarting eAS Download Manager. If you're running some other firewall
or security program, please follow their equivalent steps for adding the eAS
Download Manager to its list of exceptions.

Why do I need to install the EAS Download Manager on my computer?
Audio Bibles and books are much larger than their text versions, so they are
usually segmented into multiple files to allow for successful downloading of
multiple files. Our FREE EAS Download Manager automatically manages the
downloading of multiple audio files for you so you don't have to manually
select and download individual files to get your audio resources on your
computer. You will only need to install our Download Manager the first time you
purchase audio resources from eAudioSource.com.
The Manager will not collect or transmit any sensitive personal information
from your computer. It will not install adware or other malicious software. You will
need to disable your security software during installation, as security
software will frequently give false warnings when installing executable files.
At eAudioSource.com, we are committed to your privacy and will not sell or
share your information with other parties. Please see our
Privacy Policy for more information. If you need to re-download any of
your resources at a later time, you may do so by simply launching the EAS
DOWNLOAD MANAGER on your computer and entering your Product Order Keys. If you
need to reinstall your FREE EAS Download Manager for any reason, you may click
the following link:

How do I install audio resources to iTunes?

-
Create a new folder and save your AAC downloads to that location on your
computer.
-

-

What if I am having problems with downloading or installing?
First, be sure you are allowing enough time for the EAS Download Manager to do
its job! Audio files are much larger than the text versions of Bibles and
books, so please be patient as your files are downloaded -- it may take some
time to download a complete audio Bible or longer audio books. But you can
relax because your Download Manager will take care of downloading all the files
you have selected while you use your computer for other tasks or while you are
away from your computer! You will need to disable your security software
during installation, as security software will frequently give false warnings
when installing executable files. At eAudioSource.com, we are committed to your
privacy and will not sell or share your information with other parties. Please
